The much-rumored iPad Pro may soon enter production if a corroboration of reports are to be believed. A report by KGI Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo coupled with a report from Taiwanese-based DigiTimes today state that the iPad Pro may hit production in the September-October range, with a targeted release in late 2015.
Further, the report states that Sharp will be the primary provider of the displays for the tablet with Samsung and TPK being secondary providers. The touch panels will most likely be provided by General Interface Solutions (GIS), a subsidiary of manufacturing-giant Foxconn. With an approximate 12.9-inch iPad, the benefit of having a larger display becomes more appealing for users of iOS-based devices. Apple has been rumored to be targeting the business and enterprise market.
