Batman: Arkham Knight Interim Update 1 Patch Notes.

The ‘first’ Arkham Knight interim PC update is in testing now, and WB reckons it will be ready to go live within a fortnight. Among other things it promises to optimise system memory and VRAM usage, reduce the number of framerate hitches, and improve performance across all graphics cards.

Reduced instances of frame rate hitching
• Optimized system memory and VRAM usage
• Improved performance on all graphics (This requires the latest drivers from AMD and Nvidia)
o The minimu spec AMD graphics card is once again the Radeon HD 7870 2GB

• More PC-specific in-game settings, including:
o Added the ability to toggle the maximum frames per second between 30,60 and 90
o Added options to enable or disable Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration, and Film Grain
o Added a “High” Texture Resolution value to the previously available Low and Medium 
o Added a Texture Filtering option
o Added an Adaptive V-Sync option (NVIDIA only). This enables V-Sync at higher frame rates and disables at lower, reducing instances of stuttering and screen-tearing
o Added VRAM Usage Meter to monitor how demanding Arkham Knight is
o Added a Mouse Sensitivity Slider & Mouse Smoothing Option

• Fixed occasional bugs with low resolution textures appearing
• Fixed hitches when running on traditional mechanical hard drives (HDD)
